I tried the shouyu ramen at Orenchi this Wednesday and I really liked it. I think it's not the usual shouyu. I'm guessing they mix in soup from the pork stock. Yet it also retains some of the fish stock, smoky taste of shouyu. I like it better than Orenchi's shio for sure.

Hello Sain! I cant help trying to imagine the flavors of your described ramen. I am living in Japan (and will remain here for a while) and I also like to venture to new ramen shops all the time. Just to point out, my top are Kumamoto miso ramen eaten at Shikoku (always good, never fails) and the Supreme one is ootoro ramen, a Tohoku rare, which is served in my local ramen shop in Sendai. Look for ootoro ramen, it is my all time favorite!
