Decline of patience

Admittedly, my patience isn't the best. But lately I find it falling off rapidly when it comes to reading non-critical stuff. If I see a blog entry that consists of long paragraphs, I automatically tune out and say "Next!"

Is this my ADD forming or just years of training reading technical papers with concise paragraphs? ^_^

You need to get back into school and start reading academic papers. Pages and pages of "stuff" in between the key points.

Don't you miss it? ;-)

I thought that I was concise enough.=P
Shall I provide you with an abstract for each article? =P

Hahaha. No Grace, I wasn't referring to your blog entries.

I guess if I want to be more accurate, it's not so much the entries on the blog I'm thinking of are long paragraphs, but they're more like one gigantic paragraph each.

Although I must also admit that my patience for non-English entries are lower, and close to nil for Simplified Chinese, which I don't know how to read. :p

Ugh, don't remind me about academic papers Nick. I plowed my way through one 2 weekends ago during my trip to Baltimore. The paper itself was fine, but it almost brought flashbacks w/ it. :p

I use whatever language that is convenient to write, sometimes English, and sometimes simplified Chinese. You don't really have to read my Chinese writings =P....There is just one question that I've always been seeking answer - why is that I was never trained to read traditional Chinese, but I've no problem to read? ....It's sort of like an natural instinct. When I see the character, I can just recognize it, and associate it with the simplified one. =P
